The Berenson Library also welcomes other qualified scholars holding at least the Master’s degree or its equivalent, who may apply for a reader's card valid for one year and renewable without limit. Exceptions for students or others may be made only on written request to the Head Librarian. In these cases admittance will be granted for a maximum of two months or ten visits. Researchers unaffiliated with I Tatti or who do not hold a valid Harvard University ID should present a letter of introduction or, if a university professor, current faculty identification. |
| Circulation Policy: | Books and other materials held by the Berenson Library may be borrowed for varying lengths of time, but they must be consulted on site. No materials of any kind are ever to be removed from the main complex of the Library, studies, and Villa. Harvard affiliates may borrow most items for four months, and other patrons for 28 days. |
