| Access Information: | Tozzer Library is open to all researchers, regardless of academic affiliation. A photo ID must be presented for admittance. Individuals not affiliated with Harvard are permitted up to six free visits per year. a fee is charged for additional visits. |
| Circulation Policy: | Tozzer has both circulating and noncirculating materials.
Borrowing privileges are extended to individuals with a current Harvard ID.

| Holdings Description: | Tozzer Library's collections cover all subfields
of anthropology, including biological anthropology, cultural
anthropology, anthropological linguistics, prehistoric
archaeology (generally through the Iron Age), and historical
archaeology of the Americas. Latin American, especially
Mesoamerican, archaeology and ethnology are areas of strength
in both general and special book collections. The library
acquires materials in English, Spanish, French, German,
and other European and Slavic languages.

| Services: | Tozzer participates in an interlibrary loan program for sutdents, faculty and staff of the Anthropology Department and/or the Peabody Museum. Fees may apply.
