Holdings Description:Gutman Library holds an extensive collection of scholarly works published in the English language in the broad fields of education, educational psychology, and human development. Collection strengths include such areas as educational policy and planning, educational leadership, educational innovations, pedagogy, elementary and secondary education, higher education, teachers and teaching, school management/organization, and the history of education. Gutman Library's Special Collections include Historical Textbooks, United States Public School Reports and Private School Catalogs; a specialized collection, the History of Education and Teacher Training Schools, the Action for Children's Television Collection, and the Jeanne S. Chall Collection on the Teaching of Reading.
Services:
Resources for Persons with Disabilities:Gutman Library is wheelchair-accessible. The lobby and building entrances have automatic doors. Two interior elevators serve all floors of the building. Additional services for persons with disabilities are described on the library's website.
