Summary description of collection: Subjects include forestry, ecology, environmental science, hydrology, plant physiology, and soil science. Size of collection: 24,500 volumes; approximately 150 periodicals. Expanded description of collection: Subjects include soil surveys, USDA publications, periodicals (U.S. and foreign), maps, forest management, forestry research, forest ecology, forest economics, forest soils, and tree physiology. The collection also contains climatological and U.S. Naval Observatory data and FAO material.
