Access Information:Access to Robbins Library is open. Graduate students and faculty of the Philosophy Department have keys to the Library and may use it after hours.

Robbins Library's collection is non-circulating -- no exceptions.

The use of laptop computers in the library is permitted, and Emerson Hall has wireless Internet access.

Circulation Policy:Robbins' collection is non-circulating. No exceptions will be made.
Holdings Description:The Robbins Library collection primarily consists of monographs and journals in all areas of philosophy. It contains about 10000 monographs and 50 active serial titles.

The Library has extensive holdings in ancient philosophy, history of philosophy, analytical philosophy, political and moral philosophy. It has more limited collections of continental philosophy, aesthetics, philosophy of religion, and medieval philosophy; a large collection of Kierkegaard and Kierkegaardiana; and a microfilm set of Wittgenstein's Nachlass. The library subscribes to 50 serials, mainly in the areas of analytical philosophy, mathematical logic, and moral and political philisophy.

Services:Internal ILL Policy: Robbins does not lend to other Harvard libraries. External ILL Policy: Robbins does not lend to non-Harvard libraries. ILL Borrowing Policy: Robbins does not borrow materials for patrons.

Robbins has a microfiche reader, a microfilm reader. A photocopier is available for use in Emerson 203. The photocopier accepts Crimson Cards and coins. No change is available at the Library.

Resources for Persons with Disabilities:Robbins library is wheelchair accessible. Additionally, staff will do whatever they can to assist patrons with disabilities.
